Summary:
Golf and bowls day to include lunch on arrival, golf competition and putting competition, relaxed bowls competition for non golfers, evening buffet and trip on the Landtrain.
Lunch:
- Private use of Restaurant section of the Country Club.
- Tab on the bar for drinks.
- Lunch to be served at the country club on arrival of guests 12 noon.
- 50 rounds of sandwiches brown and white bread plus ½ bowl chips per person.
Golf:
- 24 golf players tee off at 1pm - first tee closed between 1pm and 4pm
- Longest drive on 5th
- Nearest the pin on 9th
- Putting competition on practice putting green for all guests (inc non golfers)
- Searles pro shop to provide sleeve of golf balls for each player + golf prizes
Bowls
- 3 rinks to be reserved for guests from 1pm, to play in teams of 3 people (Round Robin) 5 ends then swap over (25 ends in total)
- Mats, Jacks and bowls to be put out and provided by Searles
Dinner:
- Evening Buffet to be served at 7pm, menu as follows
Smoked Salmon with prawns and lettuce
Lasagne
Coronation chicken
Gammon
Salads, potatoes and breads
Cheese and biscuits (cheeses to consist of Brie, Cheddar and Stilton)
A vegetarian option will be available
- Wine on table 1 bottle per 2 people - One tree hill, red and white
- Bar open until 11pm for drinks
Searles to arrange taxis for guest's convenience.
